In the United States Marine Corps, there is a 54-hour final evolution required to graduate from Basic Training called “The Crucible”. It’s a real-world exercise that simulates some of the engagements that Marines encounter in the theatre of war. It is replete with obstacles that are mental and physical challenges designed to win wars and make Marines. Imagine if members of the Clergy submitted themselves to such a challenge before mounting the Holy Desk?

The Armour Institute has created an Intense Training Module designed to formulate members of the Clergy into Warriors in the Army of the Lord. Because, like Marines
do in the natural, we are called to win wars and make Warriors in the Spiritual.
