Auctoritas Expereintaie
Read: Course Conspectus.
The Science, Study, and Execution of Sound Ecclesiastical Leadership. In an ethics committee dictate, Auctoritas Experientiae (Authority Grounded In Experience) proposes that those in positions of Leadership would exercise greater wisdom if they experience training on every level of the ladder of authority, instead of entering leadership without training that leans heavily on training procured outside one’s “wheelhouse.” For example, attending a civilian survival course for a week will not translate to the necessary knowledge base required to survive in the theater of war.
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
Explain ecclesiastical leadership as both spiritual calling and organizational stewardship.
Identify the core traits of effective church leaders and leadership teams.
Design a ministry structure that supports communication, delegation, and accountability.
Build a healthier leadership culture through mentoring, trust, and shared responsibility.
Translate church vision into practical weekly execution.
Moses, Joshua, Paul, Timothy, and Nehemiah all show that leadership is developed over time through calling, correction, experience, and mentoring. Above all, Jesus trained His disciples by teaching them, sending them out, and later empowering them for ministry.
